The DC predictor was showing great promise from the the wsw early in the AM so with my son in town yearning to relive the old days, we headed to DC. I was surprised to see it fully capped at 12:30 as we passed Island Beach and headed to SB beach. Got on the water at 1:00 with Grant Jr, on the 105 hypersonic and a 7.7 and me on the Seatrend wide style (the flying door) and an 8.5. Got some good rides until 3:00 when it back off to an occasional gust every 5 to 10 minutes. An ok day for this time of year!

Sorry I missed you guys. IB was pretty similar to what you describe. I used an 8.5 on my Prokids Formula board (117L) and got some good rides interspersed with quite a bit of schlogging.
