SW wind arrived abruptly at noon (just as Craig predicted). By the time I drove past DarkSide Beach at 12:25, there were already several kites sitting on the mud inflated and ready to go. At IB, the wind was mostly in the high teens to low 20s with occasional gusts as high as 36 MPH. The combination of a Hypersonic96 and a 6m^2 sail worked pretty well for me from about 1:15 to 2:30. Kites that I could identify ranged from 11-15m^2.
One poleboarder (me) and numerous kiteboarders - the times, they are a'changin!

Hey Jim, if you don't want to sail alone, park and ride down where we do. You'd have to take your time carrying your board down the steep bank from the parking, but all in all it's probably less effort than what you go through now.

Yesterday was a day to remember for sure. I was riding the green 15m Ozone and coupled with the SS Glide was able to rock upwind from the Dark Side up to Sailboat beach. Wanted to try to make it to the dam but the wind got fluky so I took off down wind. Lots of playing around during the excursion netted a solid 3 hr. session. A great day it was!

I almost went biking and then Jason told me it was going to blow and he was right. Great sesh on Sunday with lot's of kites in the air, steady wind and warm water. Jake, Biliy and I chased Jason upwind and he just kept going up to sail boat beach so we called off the chase and headed back to dark side.
