Kody and I rode from 5:30pm until you can see. We were on 17m and 13m Bularoo.

The lake look like it drop about a foot or so. We still had to drift launch and land our kite behind the tree in the small sandy area.

It look like its going to be North wind all this week at Utah Lake.

I rode last night with Mike L. at Lincoln beach. Pretty shallow there so the little rocks hurt more. Had the butter all to myself inside and out of the jetty. Flew my 15m with the glide although I could have rode my smaller board for a good portion of the session. Fantastic eve at Utah Lake for sure. Was going to go to SSB but didn't see any kites up and when I arrived to Lincoln, Mike L. was already rigging his 14m Wind-X Monsoonz next to his convertible red Porsche so I decided to stay there and not leave him all alone. I'll be hitting SSB tonight if it happens. Mike- Talked to Sal and he said he went by the pawn shop on 7200 S. State and the stuff was already sold, apparently. It would be worth going there to see if they have records of the purchases. I'll let my friend Brian know as well since his kite gear was also stolen.

Dam! I was going to go but it looked WEEK. Reading 12 at bluffdale and 9 at Lindon around 4:30 at least on my phone reports.
The flag at POM was barley moving so I kept it pointed towards home.
Please Text me if ya see it looking good. :(

Thanks Jason for calling Sal. I will let the detective know. If they got sold locally, it won't be too hard to find them. Also if you want to borrow the body bag from Justin have at it. You might get all your gear in that one bag.
With the water dropping at Lincoln and not low enough at SSB, which is worse, rocks or trees? The Porsche won't make it down to SSB, so might have to wait it out a bit more. Just throw on some booties. Still like having grass to setup and take down kites. Plus the flatwater is always nice. Doesn't look like it is going to work out tonight, but hope that changes for everyone.

what was stolen so I can keep my eyes and ears open? I love beating down thieves. One of my other hobbies.

Jake, I'm writing a windriders story for next week's Outdoor page of the Deseret News and I'd like to talk to you. Could you give me a call? Thanks, Tom Smart 801-809-2007
