8/22 Utah Lake

Arrived to a very light breeze. Mark showed up a half hour later. We sat around for a couple hours. Kevin and Paul showed up and the wind started to slowly build. When the wind finally hit 8 mph, I could not stand it anymore and I went out on my Silver Arrow and Spleene Monster Door. I could ride, but just barely. The wind continued to build and I rode for about an hour in 10 - 12 mph wind. It was enough for single rotations, not particularly exciting but still a keeper. Wind was still puttering at 10 - 12 when I left, I hope it picked up for everyone. There was a nice sized crew when I left.

Christy rode 13 edge, glide for awhile intill the sun set and it was to dark to see. I put in a few reaches on the same combo but was busy teaching..

After watching Kenny have all the fun I rigged Jake's 17m Waroo and was able to get a few reaches in but had to work the kite for all it was worth. Better than nothing. Thanks Jake!
