9/6 DCDS 13m

Postby Ralph Morrison » Sat Sep 06, 2008 6:13 pm

A slow start, teaser gusts with big holes. Filled in around 3 pm for some good rides. Not as violent as yesterday. For anybody going to Deer Creek, it's wetsuit temperature. Don't forget yours.

hope i'm not setting a bad example. board shorts are still fine with the warm air temps but the water is starting to cool now that fall is around the corner.
enjoy it while you can. today looks better than yesterday so go get it. jim and steve were out yesterday. steve probably got the best around 3. i didn't get wet until after Kaerli was up and going but raced the shadow of Timp across the water to hit the beach before it did. all in all a fun ripple sesh with slight-caps and might-caps being just enough. i'm thinking sbb today unless ib looks particularly compelling.

No, you're setting a very good (inspiring, humbling) example of how to get maximum fun out of minimum wind!
