Being a newbie, I figured the light wind today would be good for me to practice in. About 6pm it picked up to the point where I could get a few reaches here and there. It was never quite enough to sustain a solid ride on an 11M, but it gave me plenty of practice with the kite, especially relaunching. I think a 13M would have been ideal, maybe even a 15M. Kited until dark. Not as cold as I thought it would be...at least that's what I thought until I took my wetsuit off!
