Not quite Epic Powder turns in PC

Postby Jason Klein » Wed Dec 24, 2008 8:22 pm

Headed out to the UDOT field after work today. Set up the 11m to winds in the low 20's. Wind was really good, but after 10-12 reaches, i got tired of picking my way around rocks (OK, todd, you were right), so i packed down and headed over to Desperation flats. Snow pack there is pretty good, didn't hit any rocks. Spencer showed up about a minute after i pulled in and we had a nice 1.5 hr session. Joined by Justin about halfway thru. There's one little snow drift in the middle that provided a nice ramp for some nice(higher-than-i-should-have-for-the-thin-snowpack) jumps early season. Not quite the epic powder turns had at PowMow, but still fun.

I'm going to try out strawberry tomorrow morning and will post a snow report.
