1/31 Skyline 17M Waroo

Snow was remarkably good considering it hasn't snowed in a while. Bosco had portions of the hill with no tracks. Found lots of powder stashes. Wind was out of the SW, so a few of us checked out the south side of Bosco. It is much steeper over there and with the wind going directly up the hill an excellent gliding spot. Lots of familiar faces, Brian and Heather, Ryan, Sal, Mark, Devon, Ken L, and Don. Other kiters out there as well, so sorry if I missed you. Wind lasted all afternoon in the 15 - 20 mph range.

Thanks again for everything Kenny. I had a ball Saturday. Watching you go off the "ledge" was amazing.

What a great day. Funny thing is, we waited for the wind to fill in since 8 am. After 4 hours of just enjoying the scenery, everyone started showing up. At that very moment is when the wind started to fill in. Not a moment before.

I'd like to add that it was powered fairly well, with most riding on 11-13 meter kites.
