There was a west wind in the valley all day and the Power Plant meter said about 15 mph out of the west, so I headed to Pineview to catch the upcanyon winds. It was very gusty up and down with max winds about 12 mph. Most of the time the wind was less than that though. The snow was thick and heavy but every once in a while a strong gust would blow and I could go upwind. I kited from 3:30 to 5:00 -- not bad for after work during the week.
