Strawberry River 14 m. caution

Postby bob allen » Tue Mar 17, 2009 9:19 pm

Got to the river early to catch the thawing snow. Not much wind. Checked out the Marina but no wind there. Went back to the river and got lucky. Very light wind at the parking area but just enough to pump up and make a go of it. Four of us out ripping it up during the windy periods, also a lot of waiting around in the lulls. Good corn snow up by the aspens, Every one had some good jumps/glides. Almost made it back to the truck around two or so. I looked at N.W.S. and north flow seems intact for tomorrow. Just might have to go back.
