The wind was a bit up and down, but I was well-powered and happy when it was up. I could have ridden a bigger sail when I arrived at 2PM, but I had plenty of sail by 6PM or so. Dangerous Darren was on a 5.5 and Jim Hornbeck was on a 5.7. Two other kiters were also getting good rides. Plenty of water, with water temp a balmy 49.9 degrees near shore, according to my thermometer. Good call, Craig! I'm pretty light, so an average-sized sailor would have been on a 6.0 or so.

It was a sweet season-opener,
5.5 sail, 95 liter board, no booties, and warm wind.
Wahoo!!!!!
Just wish I could of made it to MM19 sunday.

I'll bet it was good... This is the way to beat the weeds... When do the weeds begin to pop up at Mona?
