4/8 Willard Bay, 12m Waroo, several boards

It's amazing what some people will do when desperate. Went to Willard around noon today. Got my 12m set up first and then the wind picked up so I switched to my 9m. By the time it was ready, the wind was way down. I tried it anyway with a big board but no luck. So I switched back to the 12 with not much more luck. The wind finally picked up and and I had a pretty good ride for a bit on the big board. Then it died so I put the 9m away. It came back up bigger this time so I went out on my 142 board. There was plenty of power and it kept building till I decided it was time to get off the lake. I'm glad I did when I did cause it got a lot worse.

Anyway, Willard has come up quite a ways. The north beach is probably half gone from last year but there is still plenty of room to launch. The island protecting the little cove is long gone so I was dealing with good size waves right from the takeoff. I believe it will continue to fill till there is not much beach left. Too bad we can't take a bunch of this water and put it in Rush!
