What a difference a day makes. Didn't freeze last night and the snow pack went isothermic. I think Strawberry area is mostly done for the year. The wind was light but not bad. Not quite enough power to overcome the deep, wet, and slow riding conditions. Snow kiting today felt just like slogging on a windsurfer. That may be it for me this season. Thanks all for the good times and hopefully I'll see some of you this summer in the Gorge or on top of High Rustler tomorrow afternoon.
