Didn't see much wind down in Lake Mead and was ready to head back to Utah anyway. I decided to check out Sand Hallow to see if it is worth going back. I arrived around 5:30 and solid 6.0 condition from NNE. Would have been better had I rigged my 6.4. But after 2 days of fun in Vegas, I got very little energy left. So, I decided to test out the 5.5 Retro I got from Mike E. Other than a few wind shadow and lull I had to slug through, it was the best session I had on water in Utah. I sailed until the sunset and my shorty was a little too short for the water temperature. . . Sand Hallow is an excellent location. Definitely worth going back to.
