Arrived at 2:00pm, deserted, wicked cold, watched for awhile but could not decide what to rig, maybe 2.5 or 3.7 or 4.7 or 5.6
put on the 5.6 and tried it on the shore but felt to much so rigged 4.7 and went out, but it wasn't enough for right then, so came in and got the 5.6. Damn the hands get cold fast, not to mention anything else that is in the water every long. Got some screaming reaches powered to the max, but the wind was very changable and turbulent. Sometimes I was over, then I was under all within moments. At any rate, I got an early season day in at Sulfur. There is still snow by the water in one place and definitely cold.
