I was in the Pickleville area. The wind was up and down, mostly down. It came up in the late afternoon, but the thunder persuaded me to stay off the lake. Finally about 6pm a steady north wind came up so I headed out. I got a good hour's ride in before the wind died out. It was a fun ride. I'm hoping I'll get another chance on Monday. We'll see.

Hey Ken,
I was there with a friend on Saturday learning to fly his 18 foot catamaran. We were on Rendezvous Beach. When the wind really started to turn on (late afternoon) we beached the cat and I put up my 12M Waroo. It was the first time I've ridden in some heavy waves. The wind swell was great. All the waves lined up like little 1/4 pipes to launch or carve up. Cold water, but just fine in a full wetsuit, no gloves or booties. Would have been fun to ride with you up there. We might be headed up there to Pickleville area this upcoming weekend.
