Gorge 6/13 thru 6/28 3.7 to 6.2

We were lucky to have good wind and weather, arrive when we did. Sailed 15 of 16 days, mostly on the 4.2, 3.7, 4.7 one rest day, one 6.2 and one 5.3. You know it's been windy when your 5.3 feels big, and it did. The water was a bit cold the first few days sailing at the Hackery, then the wind moved east, so did we, and the water was warmer. Spent many days at Dougs, with hardley anyone there. The river swell was amazing, and took a day or two to get in the groove, then it was all smiles. It was really fun to be there with out all the crowds. We crossed paths, with quite a few Utahn's, which is always fun. Seeing Carl C rip on his 4.7 was great, you could see his smile clear across the river.

The dog Police almost busted Roscoe @ the Hackery, when I unclipped his leash for about a minute. Almost got a $87.00 ticket, so if you go to any of the Wa. State Parks have your dog on leash, or Ranger Rhonda will get U.

I can't wait to go back soon. Make the trip if you can, it's soooo worth it.

you guys were killing it. i'm so jealous but have to say that my trip was good too. 5 of 6 days on the water. 4.7 everyday but one.
yes, despite some misconceptions, i do own a 4.7. furthermore, i'd like to point out that, with a bit of wind, i can attempt to sail the thing like anybody else. just gotta adjust accordingly. and, yes, it does make me smile.
good to see you guys up at doug's. big thanks to craig for the mercy beverage.
ps Sarah, we have the video and will be bringing it over one of these days. it's been helpful.
