7/6/09 Lindon 13m instinct

Walked out of work and felt a steady South wind so I headed to Lindon. Got there rigged, launched and after a couple tacks it swithced out of the North. It was kind of fun it switched so fast that the swell was still coming from the south wind and wind coming from the north making for some nice ramps (if only it could have lasted). It blew pretty good for the next hour out of the north but a couple times it died out leaving me down wind in water where I could touch bottom but not hold my ground while flying the kite. I was dreading hiking through the greenery to the road in bare feet. I got lucky and it picked back up to get me upwind. Not a perfect blow, but as hot as it was it felt good to get in the water and get some riding in. Only 4 kites out at Lindon. Sorry I missed family home evening out at Lincoln. How was it? Also on my way home, I was thinking how much fun I just had till I read a text from Jason Morton that said he just rode 7m at Rufus.

I wish I could have made it. I could have rode the same wind twice but I had to wake up early to do a shutdown at work.
