Wow so great to have the lake to ourselves, and then some more pole surfers.
always glad to share the goods.
Chris and Kyle?, they were on 6.5 and looked like 120L boards , these guys ripped it up and got caught in some wyoming survival times, " Let's just make it home"
When the wind went big, i saw chris shoot across that lake and was around the cornner and gone! lucky he got back, hanging by his teeth it seemed.
The wind was toping out at 32 mph for about 1 hr and the rest of the day was 18/26 mph.
Was nice to see my friend get back on the water after 10 years and she was having a great time, between the gusts.
I started out on the 6.5 for about 3 rides and got way overpowed, had to go down a rig. Still managed to get about 3 hrs in and hit the fatigue wall.
cannot wait to get to the smaller boards, 115l ,99L. one day!
