7/30/09 LB SKUNK

4 experienced kiters sat for 2 hours smelling the garbage at LB. Billy, Jason, Whit and I watched the breeze slowly diminish. We sat in the shade and wondered how stupid the parks and recreation people are to put a large dumpster next to a picnic area. The water was perfect glass when Billy and I left at 7. The ironic part is that there were no boaters out on the water. They must have had a belly-full from the last few windy evenings.

Nasty clouds with lightning slowly approached from the west which, I'm sure, shut the wind machine down!

If it makes you guys feel better I got a sess last night at stateline cove in flaming gorge, it was a good one for flaming gorge....

I agree! I would never have posted that and tried to place blame on an unexpected weather disturbance to an otherwise great setup.
