8-25 Belmont shores CA 12m

So as some of you may know i have moved to long beach area in cali. It has been marine layer city here and that means weird wind and really not ridable wind. But today was the day. I got there as the wind came in. pumped up the 12m with about 10 others out already viciously signing their kites. I went out for about an hour keeping a keen eye out for sting rays and rode moderately powered. It was really just a session to get out on the water.

If any of you utah folks know of any places to live down here let me know. I have been stuggling for the past week trying to find a place. Keep in mind that i am poor starving college student.

May there be wind in utah for you all to ride.

Alex,

Belmont actually gets a lot of decent days, you just need a bigger kite most of the time. Get yourself a 17 and you will get plenty of rides. Of course, the water there is kind of gross since it is so close to the port. You might enjoy Huntington Beach a whole lot more.

Have fun down there.
