Sorry about the delayed post but I had my first real sessions of the year at Lake Powell from August 9th to the 16th. Two 3-hour sessions each 4.7 sail and 95 liter board and another day on a 6.2. Also went almost all the way across Padre Bay on the startboard with no need for rescue... Brought the walkie talkie but the wind got me back. I'll say it again, Lake Powell is one of the best places to sail in the world while it’s on. Boardshorts and 100 degree air with 82 degree water… Just threw the gear on the houseboat and when everybody is huddled in the houseboat you’re out playing.

My cumulative injuries from the year kept me off the board for a few months (6 to be accurate)!!! I'm still as much of a wind cracky as ever! Hopefully we'll get some great fall norths here soon.
