Ya don't know till ya go, I had to run down and grab a kite from Brian, and Heather so Tommy and Calvin jumped in the car and down we went with kite gear. We all met up and wouldn't ya know it we were silly enough to go out and beat up on our skiis and snowboards, P-tex work for all or us after the rocky bottom scraping we did! Still nice to be out snowkiting.

North breeze, Brain went out on 10 manta 3 right away, Tommy followed on 15 manta 3, then I grabbed 15 from tommy after a bit and then pumped up my zephyr to do a big kite shake down.

Yeah... was fun to meet up and score a backyard Utah session...but definitely rock board conditions. It was nice powder, and soft dirt sharing a 12 inch space just between earth and space. Still, fun to be making turns in pow despite the fact that there was no base.

Good to see Billy, Tommy and a new kiter named Jeff were ad energetic as ourselves to play in the first real snow storm of the season.

More to come, I'm sure of it.

Brian Schenck

Btw - Switched bindings from the rock board to the powder board at the Big Horns, lit on 10 meter, NW wind all afternoon. Heather and I had the entire mountain to ourselves.
