Got out on the snow early at Strawb River. I figured that the rest of the group would be right behind me. After a good long ride I thought about bagging the possibility of doing a Downwinder.A late start and 7 of us headed out. Crossing the road and rolling up the kite to walk under the power lines (not fun). It would have been a good idea to do these tasks in smaller groups and not all at once. Afte almost getting stuck in a wind shadow just after the ranger station all was good. Would have liked to ride longer but time ran out as the storm rolled in and light started to fade. Fun Day, snow was nice and wind was good up on the hills.

Thats bad ass to see your travel on a real time view. Looks like you did 14.23 miles down to CC. I would like to know how many miles we traveled
to the cabins. Would you explane how you got that mapped out on your GPS.

The software that came with the Suunto watch lets you upload the log file to Google Earth. It usually shows an accurate trail following the path I traveled. Sometimes with heavy cloud cover or if I jump in the truck to take a break it shows a spike in the path where it loses the satellites. Not worth the full retail price they want for a new watch. I think they can be found on Ebay for a lot less. Not sure if you can add your path to Google with a Garmin but they might be a better choice.
