Excellent day at Barbwire Beach. Wind filled in at 12:30 and blew till well after we were all tired and done. Jason K, Mike H., Spencer, Billy, Peter, and myself. It was way powered 15m small board for me. Billy rode his 11m. Billy lost his kite and screamed for me to grab it. I almost stripped off my dry clothes and swam for it but luckily Mike H. already had his dry suit on and did the swim instead. I dropped my kite in a nasty lull downwind in the no man's swamp zone. Tough self recue there. Kite and lines all tangles up in 4 ft. high bushes where it's too deep to touch bottom. Jason K, thanks for the help. Other than that it was pretty much on the whole time. Several of the guys were pumping up 10m kites as it just seemed to keep heading in that direction. I felt like Huck Finn down in the swamp land and saw a massive tree fort down there and a beaver on my way out. Was toying with the idea of heading to ULLB but was just too tired. Hoping to double down DC/ULLB today!
