PineView 7.2 / 136

The Lowe effect did happen! We arrived about 2 to white caps filled in from side to side. Bob was already out on his 7.7 ripping around. Linda went 7.5 and I rigged 7.2 and took off planning and never stopped. No schlogging today! Most of the time the 7.2 was about right, but for about 30 minutes or more a 6 something would have been nice. I was surprised at how steady the wind was, and stayed. No major ups and downs. It was fun to sail/kite with the PV crew. Bob, Marty, Vern, Doug. The water temp was pretty good, with no warm gloves needed. Not too much boat traffic to deal with. It was one of our better PV days, and worth the trip north.

How'd the launching and landing go for the kiters?

Marty and kite crew launced from the next beach area to the east of the WS beach. They all got out and back in with no problems.

The launch is gonna be gone soon.
The only reason we even launched,
was, we had someone to launch us in tight spot across the cove.
then we had boat support to keep eye on us,
incase the wind got fluky and we could not stay upwind,
to land where we launched,
everywhere else is in the brush.

It will be gone, either by high water, or nice weather and the only beach spot left.

Windsurfing, at WS point will still be a good launch,
for windsurfers.

Same story every year,,, huh...

Impressive non the less considering the lack of space over there.
