With standing lenticular clouds in all quadrants and a stiff wind blowing at my house, I figured it would be a great session. I almost always launch at the top of this hill by the Islands and scuba & swimming area. I rigged up a 5.7 with my Bic Veloce and sat there, and sat and waited, assuming the winds aloft would make it down to the surface. Finally after a few puffs and lulls then the steady winds came in 2 hours later. My intent was to fall a lot working on jibes, no disappointment there, I still kinda suck although I still ended up with about 4 hours on the water with some great runs. The south winds generally run along the long dike on the west side of the lake. Love this sport!

Nice,

Keep the "southern" reports coming,
we all learn what to look for, and when to come down
by your reports.
