I left work early and headed south to meet up with Windzup
at one of their local central Utah kite sites.
Driving through torrential rain in Nephi,
I thought I may be wasting my time.
When I crested the hill at Painted Rocks,
and saw the rolling swell, I knew we were in for a treat all evening.
We kited until exhaustion, the wind picked up more just before sunset,
and we could have kited 9M till dark.
Camp fire, and Dutch oven dinner, with the wind blowing all night.
We woke to the sounds of wind in the trees,
and hit the water for a nice 13M session,
before we all had to head north and back to work.
