There is a reason we do not ride here on a South East. I went for a nice long swim. Dragging all my gear with me. White Kite is pretty muddy now.
Cheers,

wind is wind, right? not at DC. especially if there's some east in it. I'd rather sail west or north, and they're not that great. I've survived east but it pretty much sucks, even if it does look good on paper. glad you got back ok.

How about some details baby?! I dropped my kite once, had no clue what the hell I was doing - drifted into the rocks on the west side. Tore my canopy, collapsed all my gear and then walked the train tracks to soldier hollow. To add insult, the maintenance train went by and would not give me a ride. Luckily, when I got to soldier hollow, John G was waiting for me. I think I still owe him a beer. Booties came in handy that day for sure!
