8/22 Yuba

Gusty but nice day at Yuba. Sunny pretty much all day. Wind was low-mid 20's gusting to low 30's early, high 20's gusting to 40 later on. I flew the 10 all day, pepe used about every sized kite available but stopped short of pulling out the zephyr. Tough day to pick a size. Anything worked for a while. Kind of rolled up and down early, but got punchier as the day wore on. Had my highest jump ever - by a lot. Normal 20 ft jump, but when I hit what should have been the top, a huge gust came thru and pushed me up somewhere in th 40-50 ft range. Yikes. Lynn said she thought I was just gonna fly away. As seems to be the norm for Yuba, sand in every crevice of my car and body.
