Holey wind between the launch and the island. Almost completely filled in beyond the island. Rode powered from 11:00 till 1:00 then there was an hour lull. Back up around 2:00, had to leave around 3:00 even though the wind was still up in the 5.5 region. 5 to 6 windsurfers on the water, it was nice to see some old school rigs ripping it up. All and all a very nice DC session. Thanks to Craig for the spot on prediction.

"Ragged" Wind Direction plot and broad Wind Speed band indicate gusty conditions.

I was there, too, with my friend Steve. I took out my 5.3 m2 again like Saturday, but with the 80 liter board. This was much more comfortable with the 5.3 than my 101 L, but less so in the big lulls. Definitely gusty challenging conditions, and a lot colder than Sat., but still much fun.

No weed problem at IB -- we were tempted to try CB, but were put off by the weed reports of the previous day (my weed fins are stashed away somewhere).
