Grantsville 9/8/10 4.7

Sweet quicky sesh before work. In the water at 8, out at 9. Only Dimitri and I (where were you Mike!!?) until Josh arrive around 9.
Perfect 4.7 for me on the 100 liter FS. About 30 attempts at vulcans... none landed. Worked on hand switches which are getting a lot better but lost all glide. If only I could put these 2 together... May be next time!

holy puff fest. i waved at manny as i was pulling up the road to what's left of the reservoir but he looked focused and focus was a good recommendation because it got windier and the dust started blowing off the beach during many of the strong pushes. there were holes of course, there are always holes at g-ville but a 5.5 got me through most of them with only a few schlogs despite the readings into the upper 30's and closer to 40 than 35mph. only here and there did it devolve into an outright rodeo, most of the time it was tolerable if spotty. but the spots were fun. Josh and Ted on 5.2's. we left around 1 but it looks like it came back on and blew all day.

Just a footnote. The wind Emmanuel and I got was strong and steady, hole-less, filled-in, solid, smooth and sweet, you get the idea. 5.2/100l Sumo for me.

At about 9:00-9:15 it switched more to the South and started getting gusty-holey. Early gets the SSW wind. I got about 90 minutes total and Josh was skippin' across the water as I left just before 10:00.

Got on just before 8:00. Could been on at 6:30 and sailed another 1hr-plus if we could rig in the dark!
