I got there at 1:00 and found Eric C. watching the wind come straight out of the west. We kept watching the Mesonet thinking it's coming,it's coming. At 3:00 (when Eric was going to go golfing and I was going to go back to work)it finally started blowing out of the rite direction. I put my 5.9 on my slolom board and was on the water at 3:30. Eric and I had our patience rewarded by steady wind and little rollers. When it started to back off, I came in and Eric stayed planing for another 20 or 30 minutes. It was 6:30 when he came in. It was definitely worth taking the afternoon off. Tom W.
