DCBB Zephyr Med Board 13 Sep

Postby ChrisPSherwin » Mon Sep 13, 2010 5:30 pm

Bolted to DC at lunchtime. Got there alone. Started to pull out my gear. "Oh gosh darn, I left my pump at Lincoln." I was more irritated at myself than that, but I remembered seeing a pump at the DCBB parking area. It was still there, and it was working. THANK YOU JAKE!!! I rig, Brad shows up and we both go upwind a ways. Some jumps, some arcs some cheering from a boat. Good stuff turned on a little before 1:37 and then went away/slowed down by 2:30? Howard got a few puffs and when I bailed there were still 2 kites representing. Better wind than I had expected given the mild overnight temperatures. It looked the the poleboarding clan was having a good time as well.

We were having a good time, on a beautiful autumn afternoon with few if any powerboats around.
