Largest turnout of poleboarders in recent memory, so many, if fact, that I'm bound to forget someone, so please don't be too offended. First on the water (I think) was Rob on a 6.5, followed closely by Lewis on a 9m. (Shawn may have already been out; he appears to have been the first to arrive at the beach.) And the cars kept pouring in. Not sure of the order of arrival, but sailors included Sarah & Linda, the Bradshaws, Josh, Mike Egan, Steve Nyhus, Dave O, John Dubock, George Ward, a couple of people I don't know, and probably some I just can't recall at the moment.
Windwise, it was a bit of a tease, rapidly building to the low twenties by 12:30, then relentlessly fading (with the occasional good gust) for the rest of the afternoon. Still, some good rides for most people, beautiful scenery, and great company. A very pleasant afternoon.
