The summit of Timp was obscured by dark, ominous looking clouds, and the wind in the rigging area was weak-to-nonexistent, but there were a few mightcaps on the far side, and it doesn't take much to power up a 9.5, so... As it turned out, it was just about perfect 9.5 conditions, and, yes, I know that probably strikes most people as an oxymoron. But for about an hour and 3/4, the only time I came off a plane was during crashes and coming out of jibes. Not as pretty a day as Saturday, but much better wind.
