Epic . . and I mean EPIC day at the skatepark area downwind of the overlook. Lit on the 15M Manta from 11:00 AM until about 3:30 and then lighter from 3:30-4:00. Fred and I had the entire place to ourselves until about the last 45 minutes when about 3 other people showed up and stayed mostly on the lake by the overlook. The lake was plenty frozen with about 3 inches of powder on top (super hard and not easy to edge very on with the ice just underneath, but head downwind on the hills and features and it was amazing! There was untouched powder everywhere that was just unreal! Not sure how strong it was at the river but as we headed home it looked like there were 20 or more kites there. Hoping for more of the same through the weekend!!
