Skyline 2-6-11 perfect 11m Frenzy day

Postby windzup » Mon Feb 07, 2011 9:12 am

Arrived around 1pm to find that the morning session was gusty and bunk. But it turned smooth as I pulled into the Big Drifts lot at milepost 14. Launched the 11 Frenzy and proceeded to have another Personal Best Day up there. Played low at first, and then all over Bosco Hill, and then up behind the Chastamon Forest on the north side. From there the NW wind was perfect for playing in the powder the trees protected, dropping off the backside, and circling around the forest and climbing thru Chastas gap to do it all over again. Then we discovered that the other side of the road was powered up, and a couple of us went all over the non-motorized side.

Best part was going deep downwind on the next ridge, and cranking back upwind to the cars to finish. Great day, and great wind.
