2/13 Strawberry Marina Zephyr (yay)

Fun couple of hours on a southwest wind. I bought Billy's Zephyr so it was a special session. I shared the session with Billy and Stumper. They were on their 14 and 15m. The hills on the south side had some really nice dense powder. I came down a hill onto the lake and came within a hundred feet of a group of fisherman. As I went by, one of them said "look out for the ice holes" and they all laughed. I interpreted that as "lookout asshole". I understood where they were coming from, it would suck to watch somebody having fun when you're watching a hole in the ice.

Defently a light day, but better then not kiting at all, Ralph made the zephyr look right at home in his hands... I had a nice post hole out after the wind just shut off, Twice this week I have had to walk out of some where at strawbs, Ralph made his pack up and skii out look nice and easy. I however post holed up to my crotch , crawling and "paddling" my board to the road to get out... Lame. Had a great time on my New 14 Fuse second day out on the big North kite for me. I am loving them! After some time on the super fun little 10m the 14 feels just as playful and reactive. These things are legit! and are so durable, this is the pump up snowkite I have been looking for.
