Jim getting out last weekend inspired me. Grants was howling whitecaps but too west to be steady. Lulls to 12 and gusts into the 40's made the sail/board call hard. I tail walked as much as I schlogged. Still, nice to be back in the wind. And the rides in the 40mph gustwere definitely exciting. Quit after 1.5 hours as squalls started moving down the face of the Stansburys. Definitely a little cool for a wetsuit but I survived.

Sailing both the Gorge and Utah on my 8'2" HiTech and my 3 Starboards; Sonic 85L, S-Type 115L, and Carve 135L. Small quiver is Northwave, larger sails are Ezzy and Sailworks. Often in my white Odyssey but also in my wife's motor home.
