Montana Snowkite Rodeo, 13m Zulu, Twisted 164cm

Headed North for a Spring Break Snowkite trip and to hit up the Montana Snowkite Rodeo. Found rain at Tin Cup Pass in Idaho and at Bondurant in Wyo, so we rolled back to I-15 and found perfect conditions awaiting at the Montana border town of Monida. Pulled off the offramp, walked 30 feet from the highway and pumped a 13m. North winds opened up the better snow and many small cornices and wind lips. The cornices face north and east, making waves you can hit in any wind direction. Found gullys and half pipes and had a blast.

Friday and Sat have been at Big Hole pass in the day and Jackson Hot Springs at night. Great session on the 13m Zulu again, exploring Big Hole's expanse on the westerly winds. Found some cool terrain and mellow slopes. Gusty this morning turning to full white out. But looks to open up for a sunset session.

Dozens of kiters, sleds, campers and stoke. Great vibe and amazing location for an event base camp. Full Bar with service to the Hot Springs and a huge lodge to party and hang at.
