Mona last Sat. 5.2+105ltrs. +right call

I took a long weekend last week and had weds, thurs, fri+sat off so we went down to Yuba (where I have my camp trailer stored for the winter in dry dock). Drove down with my motorcycle on the trailer.Weds was a little cool + cloudy but thurs +fri were wonderful. Sunny and temps in the mid 70's.Had the campground pretty much to our selves. Went on some really nice rides on thurs +fri. That bike is sooo much fun. You can cover so much ground and the roads down there are a blast. I was going to come back fri but they were calling for 15-25 increasing to 25-35 with gusts to 50 so I stayed another nite.A couple of guys were supposed to come down but flaked.I waited @ for a while but noone else showed up and I didn't want to be alone out there as it was pretty much my first time out this year so I headed back to Mona.Leo was there and had a 12 set up but It was too windy for that. I lucked out for a change and picked the perfect setup. The wind was typical Mona. Good and steady straight out of the So. Got way up wind in nothing flat and had some fun and fast rides. As usual, when it started to clock @to the S.W. more, it got gusty +holey. It felt great to get out again and the water wasn't that cold.I was fine with no gloves, booties or a hood. I want more. Hope to see you soon. Tom W.

Way to get the first Mona rides. We decided to stick to snow for now, but I hope to join you soon on the water.
