I will second that. Epic conditions for any time of year. The velvet was unreal. Some suspended breakable crust was in places a reminder of the lateness of the season. So to was the standing water just under the snow west of the rigging area. Wet feet for the second session kind of sucked but oh well. Ripped it up with Fred and Dave but couldn't sell the sun set session to any one but myself. Kited fully powered ten meter thru the alpenglow and ripped back to the lot just before dark. Too bad there wasn't a full moon. I am slightly optimistic about Saturday. A little consolidation before the next freeze and a bit more essence on top and the river may keep giving on borrowed time.
