Rush 5-16

Well, Craig- you had it right- "Planeable" yes, i rode. yes, i was on plan a few times. was it pretty? was it consistent? Nope. however, it was planeable like you said and i did ride and did have fun. Utah lake probably went off, but i was discouraged by the horrible drive in the construction and figure that i should ride rush while i can because it will be un-ridable soon enough either due to algae or low water.

all in all it was a nice solo session unless you count my dog ruby and the few toads or gophers she found. at one point i was riding 133 and 13M Rev, but was soon back down to the surfboard and 13M. rode for about 1 1/2 hours until i couldn't feel my hands anymore and the wind died. the bottom is getting really green and i think the algae bloom is just beginning. i hope it doesn't blow up quick like it has in years past. the only think bad about last night was the mud i picked up on my kite. its been so long since I've had rush mud on my kites and i'm a bit bummed because it lingers like that science class partner in middle school that you really need for a good project, but just doesn't stop calling....
