mm19 - June 6 - 2.5m

Yes Melinda was out on her 2.5m. Hopefully Darren will post the pictures. Absolutely the windiest I have ever seen MM19. For about 1.5 hour we were all blown off the water. Complete smoke screen across the lake.
Eventually it backed down enough to get out on a 4m then backed off a little more and I had a good long overpowered 5m session.

The lake is warming up. MM19 is as dirty as ever. I am heading over to the hospital to get my post MM19 shots right now.

Good times.

You are right Josh, probably the windiest I have ever seen MM19. I think that was some of the biggest swell I had ever experienced in Utah.
For awhile, I was considering going out on Melinda's 2.5, but really, it would have been too much.
Here are a couple of pics (sorry so crappy), but seriously, they don't do the wind, or the swell justice.

big monday. set up great for big swell. 4.2 -3.7-4.2, water was clean of reeds ,nice.I just have to get the dust out of my ears . Wind cranked up very fast from 4.2 to sub 3.0. In one gust, I was getting spanked. smoke.

Second time this year I've been blown off the water on the 3.6. Best swell ever in Utah. I'm ready for the next one. :)))
