6/17 Rush 21M Speed 3

Postby Kenny » Wed Jun 22, 2011 6:32 pm

Spent last Friday afternoon riding Rush by myself. Wind was up and down - Scream reaches followed by slogging ones. There are definitely a few fish in Rush. Unfortunately they are not keeping up with the moss growth. I rode downwind and found a fence that runs vertically for quite aways from the south end of the lake. It is just a single strand, so it was easy to jump and it was underwater in places. I am looking forward to riding there on some nice, warm days.

A few fish?? From where? Runoff? Planted? Did you actually see fish? That's pretty interesting.

Jason,

I saw fish jump a couple times. I have no idea of the origin, but they were definitely fish, not little baby birds

Local told me there is a small spring that always has some water in it,
With some fish,, carps can maybe be in there,
or, someone has already bought a big bag of feeder fish that breed quickly,
And eat that green stuff,,ha,, who would do that?
