Lindon 6/28

Got to the beach about 5:20. I got a bit over an hour riding 10m. Overpowered at times. Small crew, good night.

Thanks again for watching my kite Chris G! Was really itching to go again. Too bad the wind died.

Stopped at Lindon after work. The wind was week. At one point I drifted downwind and figured I would get out near the ponds. My kite went in the water as the wind was shadowed around the corner of the beach. I started paddling in and just before I could touch bottom, It started blowing offshore pushing me towards the middle. Do I roll up to the kite or play it cool and hope to relaunch? Luckily As I got pushed out the wind picked up just long enough to get the kite back up and me to the edge. Made it back after walking the length of the ponds. Sat and smoked (tobacco) hooka with the group of terrorist teens at the gazebo. They wanted to try the kite insisting they were strong enough to handle it. I said no, After they wanted me to take them to the store to get more beer as they were too wasted. I said no. By this time the wind came back a bit but by this time I was getting calls that Peeps was heading to Rush and a bad vibe with the gangstas. I was a bit worried to leave my truck unattended at the parking lot. Left rode Rush and all was well.
