Been chasing wind all weekend. Saturday at Sailboat Beach was a bust except for my 7yr. old grandson who got some practice on his kids rig. Sunday, Grant Jr. and I got a late start and made another run to Deer Creek but no wind at 2:30 so we turned around and headed back to Jordanell where we saw Jerry Giles coming in on his 9.0 after what he said was a nice 2 hr. session. After looking at the readings for Rush and Grantsville yesterday when we got home, it looked like both were sailable Sunday but no one posted...any one sail out there Sunday? Got up at 5:30 this morning and Grantsville was looking good with readings in the high teens so Duane Karren, Grant Jr. and I headed out. Arrived to see no white caps but some smaller gusts looked promising so I rigged big (8.5) and got on the water just as the wind picked up around 8:30. I was a little over powered after the 1st of several reaches and hung on for an hour as the wind picked up. D.K. and Grant Jr. were on 7.5`s and ripping. I re-rigged to a 6.9 and got another hour of great rides. We all packed up and left around 11:30. Finally got some!!!!
