Rush 7-19 14M, then 7M

Strangely no one has posted about the Rush Sunday session (7-17), which was muy bueno. I rode 10M LF Havoc for a couple-three hours in the PM, with kites ranging from 7-11M and a couple windsurfers out. So today, suffering from acute withdrawal, I foolishly made the drive from PC to Rush again despite T-storm forecast, arriving about 3. Drove through two blinding squalls, turned around twice on the drive to cut my losses, but couldn't live with myself and soldiered on. Jake and one other guy (Kevin) were pumping big kites after a rain line had killed the wind, but the sun re-emerged, the wind came back and we rode for about an hour (13, 14, and 17) till the wind ramped up fast as a dark wall approached. Rolled up the big kites and Kevin left, but it cleared again and started cranking, and Jake went back out on 10M (he looked juiced, and started hucking preposterous airs and kite loops into the troposphere). I pumped up a 7, did my first ever self launch (not without some consternation) and rode for half hour till it backed off again. Well worth drive after all.
