8/6 & 8/7 DCBB Zephyr

Nice weekend at the Barbed Wire Beach. Saturday was a couple hours and a little spotty at the end but Sunday was nice and steady all afternoon. Probably could have ridden a 12m. The water is really high still. Billy had a nice ride all the way up through the fence and onto the grass with a running dismount! :oo

A great day for sure. I was really worried at first when the whitecaps died out. You could see a clear line of glass coming at 12:15 and I thought we were doomed. The whole atmosphere was gloomy. But then things picked up and you could see a Wind Line, and then it filled in and there was much rejoicing - Yaaaay!
